Encouraging people engaged in the arts, crafts and social care is vital - we need your help
you can make suggestions
Do you have ideas for new activities? Check that they fall within our Trust Deed's objectives on the Home Page, and send them to the Secretary in writing or email us direct at info@bristolguild.com.
you can give us feedback
We're always keen for feedback and updates on progress from people given grants: have a look at the FEEDBACK page.
you can help us with financial support
The Trust relies solely on its investments for its finance - but we still need to add to our capital and our support. So -
what about a one-off gift during your lifetime?
A gift "inter vivos" is very easy: include gift aid, then we can reclaim some of your tax. Contact the Chairman or the Secretary (we guarantee your confidence) in writing or by email.
how about arranging a legacy?
a really efficient way to give, and with considerable tax advantages: and if you still need the money later in life, it has not been disposed of. You can EITHER bequeath:
- a specific amount - though a surge in inflation could severely reduce the amount - OR
- a proportion of your estate, which is more likely to maintain value.
remember -
- It's always best to get professional advice before you do this
- It's more useful to have a donation without legal constraints - though we do take seriously any wishes expressed by a donor.
