The Gane Trust is administered by seven Trustees, all of them local.
All give their time voluntarily to continue its original objectives.
The Trustees contribute a wide range of experience in making, manufacture, education and commercial activity, covering the Trust's interests of art, craft, design and social welfare.
They meet regularly three times a year to consider grant applications, but also in between to monitor the Trust's many activities.
The Trustees also have special roles such as Chairperson and Treasurer, and are supported by the Secretary. Here new Trustee Shekar Bheenuck meets the Secretary and Trustees Peter Metcalfe and Ken Stradling at the Bristol Guild in September 2011.
