Jeremy Cornwell moved his furniture workshop from the Bristol Guild to rural Worcestershire in 1985 at the Foal Yard, a series of converted barns where the work of exhibiting artists is displayed amongst a collection of crafts and contemporary designs for the home. Design and craftsmanship are at the heart of the Foal Yard's “hands-on, quality focused philosophy”. The studio is devoted to exploring new designs which can be batch-produced, combining traditional hand-finishing with state of the art wood-machining techniques. The workshop has created special commissions for numerous private clients, including The Federal Court of Appeals in Washington, Rolls Royce and Bristol University.
