Mia Raghunath was announced as this year’s DIA Gane Trust Award winner on 30th June at the Bath College, to her shock and to the delight of her year group, teachers and audience members.
After a very successful couple of years on the UAL Fashion and Textiles Course, Mia is going onto to study at Nottingham Trent University to do a BA Hons in Costume design and Making. Mia received her cheque after the College Fashion Show from Peter Metcalfe, Gane Trustee and DIA member. Mia said how grateful she was, and that the Grant “will help me with funding materials for future projects at University“.
